Brooklands apartment scheme approved
Plans for a development of almost 40 apartments, which would form part of the Brooklands scheme in Milton Keynes, have been approved.The land is known as parcel E of Brooklands and lies to the east of Broughton Gate and west of the M1.The application from Places for People Development proposes the construction of 38 flats over two blocks, as well as landscaping and car parking.The first block will comprise 23 flats while block two will include 15 affordable units.Of the total, 16 flats will have one bedroom while the remainder will have two.Once complete, Brooklands will comprise thousands of new homes, a mixed-use commercial centre, a hotel, open space and land for three schools.It will also include a segregated public transport route and associated infrastructure.
