£100m retail and leisure scheme planned for Liverpool waterfront
A £100m development scheme in Liverpool is being planned by a multi-millionaire businessman from the city. Developer Nikal, which was set up by entrepreneur Alan Murphy, has purchased a one acre site in the King’s Dock area of Liverpool. The deal is part of a joint venture with the Addy Consultancy and the plan is to deliver a £100m mixed-use, leisure led development. The brownfield site, which is in a prime position on King’s Dock Street, will be the first of several Liverpool acquisitions by Nikal.
