£4m proposal will create wide range of housing on college site
The former east Belfast campus of Belfast Metropolitan College could soon be turned into apartments and housing under plans by its new owner.Property firm Maple and May, which bought the Tower Street site last year, has submitted an application to Belfast City Council.Under its new £4m proposal, the four-storey former college campus would be turned into 28 apartments, with two large annexes demolished.The developer also wants to build 14 houses on the site, broken into four two-storey town houses and 10 semi-detached homes.
