United Kingdom-Portsmouth: Health and social work services – Framework Lead

The current contract for Health and social work services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 07-MAY-20 and may be available for retender. Children’s Personalised Care (Continuing Care) Tender.
Portsmouth City Council, ‘the Authority’, is inviting tenders from suitably qualified supplier for the provision of a Children’s Personalised Care (Continuing Care) service on behalf of Social Care and the CCG.
The Framework agreement will be split into three Lots as follows:
– Lot 1 – Care and Support;
– Lot 2 – Third Party Budget Management;
– Lot 3 – Training.
Lots 1 and 2 will be awarded on a multiple supplier framework agreement basis. Entry onto the agreements will be reopened at times throughout the contract at the Authority’s discretion. There will be no limits set in regards of the number of suppliers appointed a place on the framework agreements for Lots 1 and 2.
In respect of Lot 3 the Authority is targeting to appoint a single primary supplier with an additional 2 suppliers appointed who will be approached by rank order to provide contingency in the event of capacity or performance issues with the primary supplier.
The Authority is targeting to have awarded the contract by March 2016 with a contract start date of 1.4.2016.
The contract will be for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for 2 further years in increments to be agreed subject to agreement and performance of all parties.
In respect of the procurement process the following time-scales and deadlines apply:
– Issue of tender documentation: 18.11.2015;
– Deadline for requests for clarification: 9.11.2015;
– Tender return deadline: 7.1.2016;
– Notification of preferred bidder: 8.3.2016;
– Contract award: 19.3.2016.
