Zenobe Energy offers £120m funding to power up EV fleet projects
UK battery storage specialist Zenobe Energy has announced a £120m funding pot to help accelerate the rollout of electric vehicle (EV) fleets in the UK.The company is now inviting applications from fleet operators who are looking to expand their use of zero emission vehicles and supporting infrastructure.The funding has been raised from a group of private investors along with financing from Japanese firms Tepco and Jera – which together invested £25m in Zenobe earlier this year. It comes in response to “huge demand” from councils, bus operators, and commercil fleet managers looking to transition to EVs, the company said.
