JV snaps up Luton brownfield site
A six-acre brownfield site in Luton has been snapped up by a joint venture and is to be developed as a major logistics scheme.Kier Property, the development division of the Kier Group, in conjunction with joint venture partner Investec Structured Property Finance, has bought the land from Downton.Kier plans to develop the brown field site under its Trade City and Logistics City brands, totalling 120,000 sq ft.The Kier Property and Investec JV was formed in 2014 and includes a number of logistics and distribution standing assets and development opportunities across the UK.
