Development at former hotel set for green light
Plans to redevelop a former hotel as a residential scheme have been given a positive recommendation by planners ahead of a meeting to discuss the proposals.Submitted on behalf of Hale Construction and Hafod Housing, the plans include 23 affordable flats.The plot is vacant having been the site of the Great Eastern Hotel in Cardiff, which was demolished in 2010.Cardiff Council’s planning committee meets on Wednesday (19 June 2019).
