Plans in motion to build 650 new homes in west Belfast
The Braidwater Group has launched plans for a new “urban village” with 650 homes on an 85-acre site in west Belfast.The firm plans to start building social and affordable housing next year on the site off the Glen Road known as Glenmona.There would also be commercial and community facilities on the site.The land already has outline planning consent for mixed-use development.The Braidwater Group, which is based in Co Londonderry, has said it will now start a consultation into its plans.It aims to obtain planning permission in September next year.
