A hybrid planning application has been submitted for a £200m scheme which will expand Liverpool’s central business district and introduce new landscaped green space and public realm.Kier Property and CTP are bringing forward the Pall Mall development which comprises 400,000 sq ft of grade A office space, a 280-bedroom hotel, associated retail and leisure amenities, as well as new green space and public realm. The 3.9-acre site to the rear of Exchange Station forms a key part of Liverpool City Council’s emerging Spatial Regeneration Framework (SRF) for the commercial district which looks to address the lack of grade A office accommodation and enable future business growth, inward investment and job creation for the city.At the heart of the development is a new piece of public open space for local residents, workers and visitors.Liverpool City Council is currently coordinating remediation and enabling works on site, funded by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority – Single Investment Fund.
