Cruden Homes has secured planning permission to build 81 new homes as part of the first phase of the expansion masterplan at Longniddry.The development, located south of Longniddry Farms, is being delivered in conjunction with Socially Conscious Capital, Wemyss and March Estates and Taylor Architecture & Urbanism.The site will have high quality, distinctive new housing features which will integrate within the existent settlement, according to Cruden.Designed by architects Halliday Fraser Munro and Ben Pentreath, a variety of traditional house styles archetypal of East Lothian will be constructed, with renewable technologies used. Because of the landscaped environment of the site, extensive green spaces will also be created as well as a wildlife corridor along the existing Braid’s Burn.
