Hundreds of East Yorkshire homes set for green light

Plans for a development of almost 350 new houses on a site in East Yorkshire are recommended for approval when they go before councillors.Barratt and David Wilson Homes submitted an application to East Riding of Yorkshire Council in 2018 for a plot to the south for the existing Tranby Park Farm development site in Hessle.Planning permission is sought for 349 homes on the site, with a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom properties. A total of 82 affordable houses are also proposed.The application also includes open space, vehicular access road, landscaping and infrastructure works.The application will be considered by the council’s planning committee on 11 July and is recommended for approval, subject to the signing of a Section 106 agreement, is an officer’s report prepared for the meeting.
