£6m funding for care home revealed
The £6m funding package behind a new Birmingham care home which opened in May has been revealed for the first time.Peer-to-peer lender Assetz Capital provided the funding to Macc Group to aid the construction of Abbey Rose.Headed by Drs Naz Nathani and Sanjay Agarwal, Macc Group develops and operates residential, nursing and dementia facilities.The company currently operates six care homes across Birmingham and West Midlands, with a further two homes set to open before the end of the year.Abbey Rose includes 85 bedrooms with leisure facilities including a hair salon, wellness suite, cinema, gym and garden room retreat.
