Work on major job-creating scheme set for spring finish
Work to transform a former Black Country scrap yard into a new industrial scheme, which could create 203 jobs, is due to be completed in the spring.The site in Seven Stars Road in Oldbury will see a 121,175sq ft warehouse/industrial unit speculatively developed by Opus Land and Palmer Capital.Permission for the project was granted by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council in April.The development has received funding support from the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA).The new XPANSE 120 development by Opus is being brought to market by commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) and JLL.
