100-home development planned for South Yorkshire site
Almost 100 new homes could be built on a site in South Yorkshire if newly-submitted plans get the go-ahead.Gleeson Homes, supported by Spawforths and Richard Ward Design, has submitted a full planning application to Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council for a site off Lowfield Road in Bolton Upon Dearne.The 6.5-acre site is currently consists of a large agricultural field. The land to the west of the site was previously as employment land but now has planning permission for new housing, which is also being developed by Gleeson Homes.
