Short description of the contract or purchase(s): North Ayrshire Council invites tenders for a Pan-Ayrshire Framework for Provision of Occupational Health and Welfare Services on behalf of North Ayrshire Council, East Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council.
This is a Part B Service. The scope of the services to be provided in this contract fall within the definition of Part B of Schedule 3 to the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2012 as amended. This notice has been published in an entirely voluntary basis to provide a degree of advertising which is sufficient to enable open competition and meet the principles of equal treatment, non-discrimination and transparency. Bidders should note that it is not our intention to follow a specific EU procedure despite the fact that the contract has been advertised in the Official Journal.
The resultant contract will be for a period of 3 years commencing 12.5.2015 (or such other date as may be confirmed in a formal letter of acceptance by The Councils) until 11.5.2018, with the option for the Councils to extend by up to a further 2 year period. The contract will be awarded to 1 service provider only.
