Pipeline Framework: Citation and Abstract Database
A pipeline has been launched for Citation and Abstract Database.The contract start Date is 01 May 2020. Approach to market date is 31 July 2019.The Information and Library Service supports all divisions at AHDB and provides stakeholders with current books, journal subscriptions (both online and print), document supply and other materials. In addition it funds the development and maintenance of a digital repository and archive collection. The aim is to provide a relevant and cost effective information service to AHDB divisions to support them in making our industry more competitive and sustainable, by promulgating factual, evidence based advice and information.AHDB are investigating the market appetite for suppliers interested in providing a reliable and effective Citation and Abstract database that would cater for our needs in library service at AHDB. The RFI Document provides the services outline and RFI process required.The RFI Response document is to be completed and sent to Maya.McCoy@ahdb.org.ukThis is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
