Carriageway Resurfacing Scheme In Newry
A carriageway resurfacing scheme on Killeavy Road, Newry will start on Monday 02 September, the Department for Infrastructure has announced.The £112,000 scheme will deliver significant improvements to both the structural integrity and surface of the road.During the works, a daily weekday road closure between the hours of 8.00 am and 6.00 pm will be in place from Monday 2 September until Friday 13 September. During these times a diversion will be in place via Main Avenue – A25 Camlough Road – Clanrye Avenue and vice versa.The road will be open to traffic in the evenings during the week and all day Saturday and Sunday.Work is expected to be completed by 13 September, dependent on the progress of the scheme and on favourable weather conditions.
