Plans unveiled for Liverpool office scheme

Plans to breathe life into a former transport depot and warehouse in Liverpool have been unveiled.The application site is located at 10-12 Ford Street and 15-17 Blackstock Street, covering 24,200 sq ft across three storeys.Proposed by WF Doyle Holdings is changing the use of the building to provide office space. All of the alterations required are restricted to internal works.The basement level would accommodate file and archive storage, with ppen place office space and meeting rooms proposed for the ground, first and second floors. The ground floor would also include a reception area, refectory, car park and canteen, with a staff break-out zone proposed for the roof.A planning statement submitted to Liverpool City Council said: “The proposed development is a genuine regeneration opportunity which returns vacant premises to productive use.”It conveys the economic, social and environmental benefits in accordance with the three dimensions of sustainable development as defined in NPPF. The applicant therefore respectfully requests that planning permission is granted for the proposed development without delay.”
