Plans in for 87-home development
Plans to build 87 homes on agricultural land previously the subject of an application from Duchy College have been submitted for consideration.The proposals for the site near Truro, known as Higher Newham Farm, have been submitted on behalf of housing developer Places for People and follow an outline application submitted on behalf of developer Living Villages and its partners in the project, Duchy College and the Cornwall Food Foundation.The previous outline application was for 155 homes, with Places for People submitting a reserved matters application for 155 other homes, with this full application looking to add a further 87 units to the same site.Cornwall Council will decide on the project in due course.
