Pipeline Framework: Wheatpieces Community Centre – Proposed Hall and Link Corridor Extension

A pipeline has been launched for Wheatpieces Community Centre – Proposed Hall and Link Corridor ExtensionThe contract start Date is 06 January 2020. Approach to market date is 25 October 2019.Wheatpieces Parish Council are procuring the construction of a new extension to the Wheatpieces Community Centre building, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.The extension comprises a link corridor with full height glazing, a new hall including accessible WC, kitchenette and store, and associated external works and drainage. Some minor refurbishment works to the existing building are included in this project. These works are expected to start on site in January 2020.The works will be procured under a JCT Minor Works contract.Please respond to this notice before 25th October 2019 to register your interest in tendering for this project. Interested contractors will then be evaluated, and the tender documentation sent out to the final list of contractors on Friday 1st November.It is preferable that interested contractors are enrolled in the Considerate Constructors Scheme. This will form part of the evaluation of interested contractors.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
