SES appointed to work on £42m scheme
SES Engineering Services (SES) has won a contract for work on a £42m mixed-use private rental scheme in Leeds.The engineering company has been appointed by main contractor Sir Robert McAlpine on Mustard Wharf, currently under construction for developer, Legal and General.SES has been appointed to provide mechanical, electrical and plumbing design and installation services on the project.Designed by Leeds-based architect, Enjoy Design, the scheme will comprise three multi-storey buildings at Granary Wharf. It will include 247 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with communal areas, a gym and covered parking spaces. Retail and leisure units will be created at ground floor level.SES has previously worked on major Leeds projects including a new Creative Arts building and the Carnegie Teaching and Research building on campus for Leeds Beckett University.
