Developer proposes £60m student scheme for Cardiff
Plans for a £60m student development in Cardiff city centre capable of housing 728 students over ten storeys have been submitted for consideration.The application to amend previously approved plans for a 711-bed development on the site of Evans Halshaw Citroen close to the Motorpoint arena, increasing the number of rooms, has been submitted by applicant East Bay Cardiff.If the variation is approved, the development will be the fifth project built by Opto Property Group and will also be the company’s largest to date.Cardiff Council will decide on the project in due course.
