Plans for new sustainable transport hub for a site near Bridgend has been given the green light.The application, for the Cenin Renewables site at Parc Stormy, will provide parking spaces as well as a number of electric vehicle charging stations suitable for use by HGVs and cars.The report describes the proposal as a temporary sustainable transport hub and associated works on vacant land at Parc Stormy, Stormy Down, which would be used for up to 30 years.Bridgend County Borough Council’s development control committee gave the project approval pending a legal agreement.Cenin Renewables’ site already includes turbines, solar panels, an anaerobic digester plant, a cement substitute test facility with silos, the Solcer House and Tesla battery stores, and is located in a high purity limestone resource safeguarding area.
