Plans for supported living flats recommended for go-ahead

Proposals to create 89 supported living apartments in Newcastle-under-Lyme have been recommended for approval.Land at Ashfields Grange in Hall Street has been earmarked for the development by Aspire Housing.If the plans are voted through by the borough council on Tuesday 5 November, buildings containing 72 flats would be knocked down.
