Masterplan for next phase of Ashwood Business Park to be unveiled
A new masterplan for a 62 acre-site at Ashwood Business Park in Northumberland is to be unveiled.The next phase in the site’s development – being launched at the Advanced Engineering 2019 exhibition at Birmingham NEC – is being spearheaded by economic regeneration company Advance Northumberland.The plan is set to make Ashwood Business Park a centre for advanced manufacturing, process and engineering companies. Ashwood Business Park holds enterprise zone status and at the heart of one of the North East’s strongest manufacturing clusters.Plots available at Ashwood Business Park are available from 50,000 sq ft to 500,000 sq ft. The site will also establish an amenity gateway which will include a petrol filling station and key services for the businesses and employees on the park.The business park is already home to a major AzkoNobel paint processing facility and the headquarters of housing provider Bernicia Homes. The site also boasts Birchwood Industrial Estate, which is owned by Advance Northumberland.The Advance Northumberland team will be hosting the Northumberland Pavilion (Stand K100) at Advanced Engineering 2019 which takes place on 30 and 31 October.Advance Northumberland is the regeneration, physical delivery and business support vehicle bringing forward regeneration throughout Northumberland on behalf of Northumberland County Council.
