United Kingdom-Bristol: Cleaning services – Framework Lead
The current contract for Cleaning services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 06-NOV-20 and may be available for retender. Cleaning Services – Centre for Sport.
This tender will be for the routine daily cleaning of the Centre for Sport and Wallscourt Farm Gym at UWE.
The Centre for Sport on the Frenchay Campus encompasses an 8 badminton court hall, large fitness suite, aerobics studio, squash courts and associated spaces. The centre needs cleaning on a daily basis on weekdays throughout the year and ad hoc cleaning on weekends will be required. The current staffing provision for the cleaning at Centre for Sport consists of 2.5 FTE working for a total of 89 hours per week.

The Wallscourt Farm Gym also on Frenchay Campus encompasses 2 fitness suites, squash courts and associated spaces. Currently, the Gym is cleaned weekdays for 3 hours each day (15 hours total per week). This cleaning will only take place during UWE term-time.
Suppliers bidding for this must be able to demonstrate experience of cleaning similar sports facilities, in particular sprung wooden flooring.
This will be a 3 year contract with the option to extend for 2 years subject to performance and the business needs of the University. It is anticipated that the contract for this provision will be awarded in time for a contract commencement on 1.8.2015.
