Hadrian Healthcare reveals plans for £15m development
Hadrian Healthcare has revealed plans for a £15m care development, which could create 100 jobs, after acquiring land overlooking the Leeds and Liverpool Canal in North Yorkshire.Its new Manor House project will be located on Sackville Street in Skipton.The proposed development will comprise 85 bedrooms/suites, including the company’s specialist ‘Chesters’ accommodation which has been specially designed for people with dementia. There will also be eight supported living apartments.Hadrian Healthcare recently sold five of its Manor House homes in Yorkshire and County Durham, which are now operated by the Anchor Hanover Group. It now operates two North East homes, the Manor Houses at Gosforth and Whickham.
