Work set to start on Old Colwyn scheme
Work on a “significant” housing development in Old Colwyn is set to start in the coming weeks.The approved plans of Macbryde Homes’ scheme outline how the 42-strong project – to be called Parc Elian – will be a mix of two and three-bedroom semi-detached and three and four-bedroom detached properties.A total of 20 per cent will be designated as affordable.Parc Elian is expected to support 130 jobs, with an on-site equipped play area and improvements to off-site open public space also set to be financed by the developer.Enabling works will commence shortly, with a full site start anticipated in January.
