Work starts on Teesside housing scheme
Work has started on a housing scheme to develop ten new affordable homes in Thornaby, Teesside.Constructed by PF Burridge for North Star Housing Group, all of the Millbank Lane homes are allocated for affordable rent, with it being set at 80 per cent of the market rate.The scheme, which is located on the former SD Print Works site, is supported by a £1.4m grant from Home England.The development is the second scheme commenced in the borough by North Star Housing Group and PF Burridge in the last 12 months, with the first being at Darlington Lane, which comprised of seven two bedroomed bungalows for the over 55’s and is now complete.
