United Kingdom-Northallerton: Health and social work services – Framework Lead
The current contract for Health and social work services – Framework Lead is projected to end on 20-NOV-20 and may be available for retender. North Yorkshire Smoke Free Service.
The Council wishes to award a contract for the Provision of a North Yorkshire Smoke Free Service, with a robust delivery plan which includes an innovative model of delivery to achieve 4-week quit targets focussed on the following priority population groups:
– Residents in deprived areas of the County;
– Routine and manual workers;
– Pregnant smokers;
– Parents or carers who smoke with children under 16 years of age;
– People with a diagnosed mental health condition;
– People with a diagnosed substance misuse problem;
– People with a diagnosed long term condition;
– Patients who smoke who have a planned admission to hospital.
Every year the Smoke Free Service will be expected to treat 5 per cent of the North Yorkshire smoking population, in line with best practice. The Smoke Free Service will also contribute to the wider tobacco control programme outlined in the North Yorkshire Tobacco Control Strategy and will support the Council’s local population outcome which is to inspire a smoke free generation.
