Pipeline Framework: Reusable Waste Container Service
A pipeline has been launched for Reusable Waste Container Service. The contract start Date is 01 January 2021. Approach to market date is 01 August 2020.NHS Supply Chain is considering the establishment of a framework agreement for a reusable waste container service for healthcare Sharps.The estimated value over the total framework agreement term is estimated to be in the region of 20 000 000 GBP (Cost ex VAT). It is anticipated that the in the first 12 months of the framework agreement the value of purchases will be circa 4 000 000 GBP (Cost ex VAT). The figures for the total estimated value is based upon a 4-year term and builds in any forecasted growth as an estimation.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
