Pipeline Framework: Structural Heart, Perfusion and Ventricular Assist Devices including Consumables
A pipeline has been launched for Structural Heart, Perfusion and Ventricular Assist Devices including Consumables. The contract start Date is 01 June 2021. Approach to market date is 01 August 2020.The contract would be to supply structural heart, perfusion and ventricular assist devices including consumables. Products include, but are not limited to: heart valves, percutaneous valve repair and replacement devices, annuloplasty rings and bands, perfusion including oxygenators, ventricular assist devices.Ventricular assist devices in Lot 3 are one of the high cost tariff excluded devices under the NHS England HCTED programme. NHS Supply Chain/Heath Solutions Team (HST) operating on behalf of Supply Chain Coordination Ltd (SCCL) is the mandated route for the HCTED programme, and trusts who are commissioned to provide this service are directed to purchase all their requirements through NHS Supply Chain. Precise quantities are unknown.This is a potential opportunity from the government, and the pipeline gives advance notice of an opportunity that might be offered by the public sector in the future – allowing potential suppliers to plan accordingly.
