Plan to build 2,000 new homes approved

A plan to construct 2,000 homes to the north of Stafford has been given the green light.The 430-acre site has been earmarked by Worcestershire-based developer Maximus which secured permission from Stafford Borough Council on Monday 13 January.The scheme includes a five-form secondary and a two-form entry primary school, a health centre, two local centres and a 60-bed care home.The land, off Junction 14 of the M6, is part of the Northern Urban Extension to Stafford.
