The Awarding Authority wishes to invite tenders for a Laser Marking System and Battery Cell Conveyor and Mechanical Grading system, on the specified location
Scope of Requirement
LOT 1 Overview
The Laser Marking System will laser etch a unique mark/identifier on to the side of a battery cell as it is moves through the pilot line.
Requirements are to supply, install, commission and provide training for minimum 3 staff to operate the system and any other equipment. The system will be used within a manufacturing production line and therefore requires a level of software automation and robustness to operate in this environment. It is also expected that the supplier will provide technical support to aid the AMRCs research and development.
LOT 2 Overview
The Battery Cell Conveyor and Mechanical Grading system will convey battery cells through the following processes:
transfer cells from input buffer (10 cells) to conveyance system
laser marking system (see Lot1 for details)
length and diameter measurement system (includes positioning to allow measurement, sensors are not part of this tender)
collect 3 grades of cell in three buffers
