Plans in for Preston commercial scheme
Plans for a development of commercial units on one of the main roads into Preston have been revealed.PWA Planning is behind the application, which concerns land to the east of Garstang Road on the outskirts of the city centre.Proposed are 20 units comprising two office buildings, 17 industrial sites and a two-storey hybrid. Some could be combined to make larger facilities. This would cover 37,400 sq ft.A planning statement submitted to the council noted that the scheme would “meet local need”.The application could go before the planning committee later in the year.=
