Land deal paves way for 145 new homes
A total of 145 new homes are set to be constructed after a land deal was agreed jointly by the Welsh Government and Swansea Council.Two registered social landlords are set to purchase the near 16-acre site at Gower View Road, Gorseinon, with with 59 per cent of the new properties classed as affordable.A total of 12 acres of the site is owned by the Welsh Government and the rest is owned by the council.Under the agreement of the sale, the registered social landlords will be allowed to access Welsh Government grants so that the homes which are built are energy-efficient.
