Thumbs up for more than 80 new Sunderland homes
The thumbs up has been given to the proposed development of more than 80 new homes near the site of a former leisure centre in Sunderland.Housebuilder Avant Homes has secured the approval to provide 82 homes on a section of land behind the cleared Seaburn Centre site. The scheme comprises of a mix of two, three and four-bedroom family homes and a range of detached and semi-detached properties.The new homes will each have a garage, car parking and dedicated gardens.The news comes at the end of 12 months of negotiations between Sunderland City Council and Hexham-based Hedley Planning Services.
