United Kingdom-Belfast: Repair and maintenance services of medical and surgical equipment – Framework Lead

The current contract for Repair and maintenance services of medical and surgical equipment – Framework Lead is projected to end on 17-MAR-21 and may be available for retender. Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Contract for BHSCT Maintenance of Cardio-Pulmonary Equipment, manufactured by Sorin.
Belfast Health and Social Care Trust (the Contracting Authority) is seeking to establish a Contract or Contracts for maintenance and repair of Cardio-Pulmonary Equipment manufactured by Sorin.
This includes:
– service and repairs of systems manufactured by Sorin, including Heart Lung Machine, Heat Exchanger & ATS Unit.
It should be noted that contract awarded may be modified as required, from time to time, to take account of ongoing BHSCT requirements for maintenance of systems covered by such contract. By way of explanation, as per the terms and Conditions of the contract, equipment may be added to or be removed from the scope of the Contract as required by BHSCT.
Where applicable, the contract may be modified by addition or removal of equipment or systems. It may also be necessary to increase or reduce the frequency of routine service visits for certain systems if deemed necessary by BHSCT.
Where necessary, the value of Contract will be adjusted in accordance with the method described in SCC2 Special Conditions of Contract, clause 14.2.
