Green light for fuel distribution depot
The green light has been secured for the development of a new fuel distribution depot within an Alnwick business park.Rix Petroleum has received the go-ahead from Northumberland County Council for the construction of a new storage and distribution depot, located on land in the latest phase of the Lionheart Enterprise Park.The scheme includes three large fuel tanks to the rear of the site, parking bays for the secure storage of trailers and a prefabricated office unit.Measuring approximately 0.6 acres, the application site will feature palisade fencing, with access taken from a new estate road, adjoining Chestnut Close.Rix Petroleum operates from branches in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, the Midlands, East Anglia, Essex and the North East.
