Joint venture KierWSP keeps Northamptonshire County Council highways services contract
A 16-month contract has been awarded to incumbent highways supplier KierWSP following notification to the market earlier this year. The contract means the joint venture will continue providing highways services on behalf of Northamptonshire County Council (NCC).KierWSP has worked on the contract for the past 12 years and under the new agreement will continue to provide highways network infrastructure maintenance and management services, traffic signalisation and intelligent transport services, county structures maintenance and regulatory functions.The contract is initially for a period of 16 months, with the option to extend for a further nine months and is worth between £92m and £120m.
