Plans in for Kent Hill homes
Plans to develop part of Kents Hill Park in Milton Keynes into a scheme with more than 170 homes have been submitted.The two parcels of land span 17 acres and are known as site C and D1 in the Kents Hill Park Development Brief. Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP) has lodged an outline application for 171 homes and associated retail space with all matters reserved.The proposals come two years after hybrid plans for up to 148 homes and a 47-bed hospital were given the green light.Spire Healthcare was named operator of the permitted facility but, according to a planning statement by Barton Willmore, is no longer bringing the project forward.The fresh plans for 171 homes wil be accompanied by a full application for the hospital element of the project, which will be lodged with Milton Keynes Borough Council in due course.The statement said they ‘seek to refine the detailed design and parameter layout of the consent scheme’.
