Fresh plans for more than 300 flats tipped for go-ahead
Fresh plans for more than 300 apartments on a Nottingham site have been tipped for the go-ahead.Cassidy Group and Sheriff Way Nottingham Ltd are behind the proposals for land west of Arkwright Street and south of Crocus Street.If approved by Nottingham City Council’s planning committee at a virtual meeting on Wednesday 17 June, a total of 171 one-bed, 121 two-bed and 27 studios would be created.A commercial unit also forms part of the proposals as well as 97 car parking spaces.Permission was previously granted in January 2019 on the site for a mixed-use residential development for 420 student beds and 149 private rental sector apartments in a building rising between four and eight storeys.
