Hart Builders to deliver Galashiels housing project for Eildon
Eildon Housing Association has appointed Hart Builders to deliver a multi-million-pound affordable housing development at Huddersfield Street in Galashiels.A full length mural has been erected at the Huddersfield Street siteDue to begin in July, the £5.7 million development will see 34 new homes built in a five-storey building, designed to reflect the historic mills in the area. The new homes will provide much needed new affordable housing and will consist of a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments. The development, due to complete towards the end of 2021, will also offer lift access and includes residents parking and cycle storage.
