Approval for changes to major Bristol scheme

Planning consent has been granted to the permitted scheme for a prominent Bristol workspace-led scheme.4 Glass Wharf was acquired last year by Candour and Tristan Capital Partners’ EPISO 5 Fund.The re-design aims to change the appearance of the development and is focused on flexibility as well as providing a new aesthetic for the 210,000 sq ft development.The changes from the 2018 consent include sustainability enhancements. Soft landscaped public areas have been added alongside a brown living roof. The building will also be rely on the Bristol Heat Network for all heat and hot water, while photovoltaic panels will be installed at roof level.Internally, the cycling and changing facilities have been re-designed to encourage active and sustainable modes of travel to the building.4 Glass Wharf forms part of Tristan Capital Partners’ opportunity fund, EPISO 5, bought from a joint venture between Salmon Harvester Properties and NFU Mutual.
