Isle of Mull set for affordable modular homes build
Argyll and Bute Council has approved planning consent for a development of four new affordable houses at Ulva Ferry on the Isle of Mull.The project has been three years in the making, with the local authority saying it has been made possible through £777,855 in funding from the Scottish Government’s rural & Islands housing fund, as well as £48,000 from their own strategic housing fund.The development will be led by Mull and Iona Community Trust (MICT), with Ayrshire-headquartered modular home specialist, The Wee House Company, contracted to undertake the build of the development.
