Go-ahead for Slough apartment block
The go-ahead has been given to construct a new apartment block in Slough.Bath Road Properties has secured the approval from Slough Borough Council for the part four and part five-storey building on Bath Road which is set to provide 37 new residences.The scheme is comprised of 10 studio units,16, one-bed units and 11, two-bed units.The site is located to the rear of Atria House and currently comprises car parking space.The proposals retain 130 car parking spaces, along with an additional 52 spaces to be used by the new residents.A statement submitted to the council on behalf of the applicant said: “This site is in a location with high accessibility to sustainable modes of transport, including bus and rail connections, as well as being within easy cycling distance of Slough town centre.”The development complies with local and national transport policies and offers an existing safe and convenient vehicular access from Bath Road.”
