Revised plans have been lodged for a housing development on the site of a former council depot in Leeds.Durkin Homes, supported by Addison Planning Consultants, has submitted an application to Leeds City Council for development of a site off York Road, at Killingbeck Bridge. The site was previously used as a depot by the council’s Highways Department but the buildings have now been demolished.Planning permission is sought for 23 new homes, with a mix of 17 terraced and semi-detached houses, as well as and two apartment blocks. An application to build 25 homes on the site was refused planning permission earlier this year (April 2020) due to concerns over the density of the accommodation and level of amenity for residents.
