Rovco awarded multimillion-pound wind farm contract
Bristol-based hydrographic survey firm Rovco has been awarded a multimillion-pound contract to work on a new offshore wind farm project.Rovco will begin survey work on Erebus, a planned 96MW offshore floating wind farm, off the coast of Pembrokeshire. The survey will consist of a detailed geophysical and environmental site investigation to assess the seabed and sub-surface conditions at both the wind farm and along the potential cable routes to shore.The project is being developed by Blue Gem Wind, a joint venture between energy giant Total and Simply Blue Energy, a Celtic Sea blue economy project developer.
