Plans revealed for new Exeter office scheme
Plans have been revealed for the construction of a new commercial building in Exeter designed for flexible use.Heritage Developments is seeking the go-ahead from Exeter City Council for the development of a four-storey office building, intended to provide approximately 30,000 sq ft of new flexible office space on land at the corner of Retreat Drive and Exeter Road in Topsham.On the ground floor there will be under croft parking, covered, secure cycle parking, a bin store, and main reception area.A total of 46 car parking spaces, including three disabled spaces and three electric car charging parking bays, will be provided together with 46 cycle spaces, six electric bike stands, six external bike stands, and 10 co-bike stands.The upper floors will be served by a central core with lift, stairs and washrooms, with the third floor incorporating a shared meeting space and board room.The proposals also include a fitness studio on the top floor for use by the occupants.Measuring approximately 0.6 acres, the application site comprises the current site compound for development of The Chasse, opposite and part of the Retreat Boat Yard.
