New homes approved in Chippenham
Plans to build approximately 120 homes in Chippenham have received the green light.Taylor Wimpey secured the outline approval from Wiltshire Council for the development, which is set to be built on land at Showell NurseriesThe approximately 10-acre site is directly adjacent to the southern boundary of the permitted Rowden Park Garden Village development, which will provide an additional 1,000 homes.The scheme intends to provide family homes in a mixture of sizes, including an element of affordable housing for those on lower incomes.Additionally, the application includes the provision of public open space for a new children’s play area, areas for informal recreation and new recreational routes which will connect with Rowden Park.
